It’s a snowstorm in Tahoe!
North Lake Tahoe’s massive midweek snowstorm is continuing, adding 2 more feet of new powder in the past 24 hours in addition to yesterday’s snowfall of more than 2′.

January is National Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month. While packages are offered all month long, there are a couple packages this weekend to take advantage of in the fresh snow:
 
Diamond Peak:
Diamond Peak is offering special Learn to Ski & Ride packages for just $39 from January 9- 13. For ages seven and up, the Ski and Snowboard School will have Learn to Ski and Burton Learn to Ride packages for just $39. The package includes a beginner lift ticket, rental equipment and one hour, 45 minute lesson beginning at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Tahoe Donner Downhill:
Tahoe Donner Downhill celebrates First Timer Learn to Ski or Snowboard Month January 9 – 13 and January 17-20, by offering Learn to Ski or Snowboard packages for
$39. These packages are only for first timers, which include all-day lift ticket, rental equipment, and a one hour, 45 minute group lesson for anyone ages 7 and up.
