The collection includes 8 boats that are significant to the Tahoe Basin, including Shanghai, the 1890's launch discovered on the bottom of Lake Tahoe, an engine collection, a steamer room, and other relative paraphernalia. Showing regularly are videos featuring Tahoe's intriguing maritime history. We also have a wonderful children's activity room where kids of all ages can learn interesting facts about boating on their own level. Activities include line tying, boat building, watercolors, and other fun arts and crafts. We welcome large groups with advance notice. Located on the south side of the Homewood Mountain Resort Parking lot.
