The Meeks Bay shoreline is popular for its beautiful scenery, sprawling clean beaches and easy access. The area offers a high concentration of recreation opportunities including camping, swimming, biking, boating and hiking into the nearby Desolation Wilderness. Meeks Bay Beach is located on National Forest land.
Site is managed under permit with US Forest Service by California Land Management. Attendants are on duty during operating hours to provide any assistance. Charcoal grilling is allowed only within the grills provided.
